since it's already my office's start of peak, fave workmate and i got invited to some crazy colleagues' pre-peak party over the weekend. ring-a-ding-dong. considering my present state, alcohol intoxication is absolutely necessary.
it went well. i loved the long drive, the stories, the laughter. met interesting new people. drank more than i thought i could. even laughed more than i thought i could. misery really does love company, especially when alteration of sensibility is involved.
quite unfortunate how the same concoction scammed everyone's consciousness that by the break of dawn, someone broke in and ransacked through our stuff. the only casualty: fave workmate's S3. i felt partly liable because i begged him to come. in his true apathetic self though, he managed it pretty well. calm and remarkably composed. sometimes, i wish to turn into a monster like him. but i like my emotions. they keep me human.
